Each year the response to food insecurity becomes more challenging in under resourced communities like Brightmoor. This year has been no different with additional demands because of inflation and economic concerns.
Organizations have been struggling to meet the ever-increasing need of our families. For over a decade now City Covenant Church has been on the front line of tackling hunger in our community.
This year we are on target to serve 30,000 meals to the most vulnerable population in our city, but we can’t do it alone. Will you join us please? Here’s how you can partner with us.
We need volunteers to cook or help deliver meals, and of course your financial donations are greatly appreciated. For as little as $2.50 per person we can prepare and deliver a meal to 150 people per day guaranteeing that they receive at least one good meal.
