Our Vision
Making disciples and extending mercy
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:18-20
“Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke? Isaiah 58:6
Our Mission
Restoring our community one person, one family, and one street at a time, through:
1. The word of God (Biblical)
2. Building a relationship with God through Jesus Christ (Devotional)
3. Personal relationship with the local church (Connectional)
4. The leading of the Holy Spirit in mission (Missional)
Our Statement of Faith
1
We believe the Bible to be the inerrant Word of God and the final authority in faith and life.
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21
2
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit Matthew 28:19
3
We believe in the deity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
4
We believe in the virgin birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures 1 Corinthian 15:3-4
5
We believe in His second coming to the earth in power and glory to rule for a thousand years.
And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Revelation 20:4
6
We believe He will judge the living and the dead.
I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom 2 Timothy 4:1
7
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood on the Cross.
For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:28
8
We believe in the catholic (Universal) church.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:18
9
We believe salvation is received by believing into the Lord Jesus Christ.
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10
10
We believe in the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 1 Thessalonians 4:16
